Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an assistance device capable of reducing the burden on a caree during sitting motion assistance. An operation process for the sitting motion by the assistance device (1) includes: a lowering step of coordinating movements of a raising/lowering part (30) and a swing part (40) so that the amount (Nd1) of downward movement of a central shaft (A) caused by lowering of the raising/lowering part (30) is greater than the amount (Nb) of backward movement of a reference position (Ps) resulting from backward rotation of the swing part (40), and thus lowering a support member (50) from an initial position for the sitting motion; and a backward movement step of rotating at least the swing part (40) backward after the lowering step, thereby moving the support member (50) backward to a finish position for the sitting motion.
