Abstract:
Provided is an assistance device which has a compact structure. A pillar portion of the assistance device includes a movable body which is reciprocally movable in the direction in which the pillar portion extends, and a first linear actuator which is provided along the direction in which the pillar portion extends and moves the movable body. A swing arm includes: a first arm portion that engages with the movable body below a predetermined position and swings due to the movement of the movable body; and a second arm portion that is integrally provided with the first arm portion, extends rearward of the predetermined position, and supports a support member. The support member tilts forward with downward movement of the movable body.
