Abstract:

Provided is an assistance method used for an assistance system which assists a caregiver in caring for a subject under surveillance, said system comprising a central processing device which stores a care record and a terminal device which is communicably connected to the central processing device and which comprises an image capture unit which photographs an image, a display unit which displays the photographed image, and an input unit which receives an input of the care record. The method comprises: an image capture step of activating the image capture unit and photographing a care-associated image; a storage selection screen display step of, when the care-associated image is photographed, displaying in the display unit the photographed care-associated image and a storage selection screen which prompts a selection of whether to store the care-associated image on the central processing device; an image transmission step of, if the selection is made to store the care-associated image on the central processing device, transmitting the care-associated image from the terminal device to the central processing device; and a device storage step of, when the care-associated image is transmitted, storing the care-associated image on the central processing device as the care record.
