Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible for a person to quickly ascertain the water level in a water system when the water level has risen therein. This assistance system is provided with: a sensor which measures the water level in a water system; an assistance device which is an information processing device for managing security personnel; a terminal device which is held by the security personnel; and a resident management device which is an information processing device for providing information to residents. The sensor transmits the water level to the assistance device. The assistance device transmits, to the terminal device, ascertainment instruction information for providing an instruction to ascertain the situation when the water level has exceeded a first threshold value. Furthermore, the terminal device transmits, to the assistance device, report information representing the ascertainment results regarding the situation. The assistance device transmits, to the resident management device, the report information upon receiving the report information from the terminal device.
