Abstract:

This assisting device (1) is provided with: a base (2) onto which a care recipient (M) can be placed and moved; a lifting member (31) which is supported on the base so as to be capable of moving vertically; a lifting drive unit (32) which drives vertical movement of the lifting member; a swinging member (41) which is swingably supported on the lifting member; a swinging drive unit (42) which drives swinging of the swinging member; a holding member (5) which is inclinably supported on the swinging member and which holds the upper body of the care recipient; a first handle (43) which is provided on the swinging member; and a second handle (54) which is provided on the holding member and inclines integrally with the holding member. Thus, practical usability is improved in aspects such as stable movement operations of the assisting device, and safe, free inclination of the holding member.
