Title:
ASYMMETRIC PYRENE DERIVATIVE AND ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT DEVICE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/115950
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are asymmetric pyrene derivatives having a specific structure. An organic electroluminescent device comprising an organic thin film layer which is interposed between an anode and a cathode and composed of one or more layers including at least a light-emitting layer is also disclosed wherein the organic thin film layer contains at least one of the asymmetric pyrene derivatives by itself or as a component of a mixture. Such an organic electroluminescent device has high luminous efficiency and long life due to the asymmetric pyrene derivative.
