Title:
ATMOSPHERICALLY CONTROLLING A BULK BAG IN UNLOADER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002090194
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
An apparatus and system for removing material from a bulk bag (12) with reduced atmospheric contamination. The invention provides for engaging the bulk bag (12) in a substantially airtight arrange with a reservoir (18) that receives the material being unloaded and airflow discharge system (10) that filters the airflow prior to it entering the surrounding atmosphere. The apparatus is specifically intended for removing residual material from the bulk bag (12) and collapsing the bag (12) through vacuum pressure. This simplifies bag removal and folding while reducing atmospheric contamination from uncontrolled residual material.
