Disclosed are an atomization assembly and an electronic cigarette having the atomization assembly, comprising a connection assembly (1), an oil cup assembly (2), an atomization sleeve (3), an atomization core (4) and a suction nozzle (5), wherein the atomization sleeve (3) is arranged at the end of the oil cup assembly (2) opposite to the connection assembly (1), one end of the atomization sleeve (3) is detachably connected to the oil cup assembly (2), and the other end of the atomization sleeve is located outside the oil cup assembly (2) and is connected to the suction nozzle (5); the oil cup assembly (2) comprises an oil storage sleeve (21) and a sleeve pipe (22) sheathed in the oil storage sleeve (21), one end of the oil storage sleeve (21) is provided with an oil filling port in communication with an oil storage cavity, and the other end of the oil storage sleeve is connected to the connection assembly (1); and the end of the atomization core (4) located outside the oil cup assembly (2) is inserted into the atomization sleeve (3) and is detachably connected to the atomization sleeve (3), and the other end of the atomization core is inserted into the oil cup assembly (2) from the oil filling port of the oil cup assembly (2) and is detachably connected to the oil cup assembly (2). In replacing the atomization core (4), the atomization core (4) is dismounted after the atomization sleeve (3) is dismounted, the dismounting process is simple, and since the atomization core (4) is arranged at the oil filling port, smoke can be directly discharged via the suction nozzle (5), so that the condensation is less likely to occur.
