An atomization device (10), used in an electronic cigarette (100), the electronic cigarette (100) comprising a battery device (30) electrically connected to the atomization device (10); the atomization device (10) comprises a connecting assembly, a movable assembly which can rotate about the connecting assembly, and a locking mechanism (15), wherein the connecting assembly connects to the battery assembly (30), the locking assembly is provided between said movable assembly and said connecting assembly, and is capable of unlocking the movable assembly and the connecting assembly from each other under the application of an external force, causing the movable assembly to rotate circumferentially about the axis of the connecting assembly, aligning the atomization device (10) with the battery assembly (30). When the locking mechanism (15) of the atomization device (10) is in an unlocked state, a user may precisely align the atomization device (10) with the battery assembly (30) by rotating the movable assembly, rendering the electronic cigarette (100) more aesthetically pleasing once assembled, and rendering the use more convenient once a non-cylindrical type atomization device (10) and a battery assembly (30) are aligned.
