Abstract:
Disclosed is an atomization device having stable atomization characteristics, such as the amount of atomization and atomization height, and exhibiting no degradation over time. Specifically disclosed is an atomization device (100) provided with: an atomization means including a liquid retention member (4), a porous plate member (1), and vibration means (a vibration plate (2) and a piezoelectric vibrating body (3)) for vibrating the porous plate member (1); and a liquid supply means for supplying liquid from the liquid retention member (4) to the atomization means. The liquid supply means has a liquid supply wick (5) capable of transferring liquid by capillary action. The liquid supply wick (5) is disposed in such a manner that the face of one end (5a) thereof is in contact with the atomization means, and the liquid supply wick (5) deforms in the thickness direction of the porous plate member (1) while maintaining the flatness of the face of the one end (5a).
