An atomizer having an atomization amount self-adjusting function. The atomizer comprises a microcontroller (1), a water level detection module (2), an atomization piece (3), a power adjusting module (4), and a timing module (5), wherein the water level detection module (2) is used for detecting the height of a current water level in a liquid storage container of the atomizer; the timing module (5) is used for setting a detection time interval; the microcontroller (1) is used for calculating the atomization amount within the detection time interval according to the height of the current water level and the detection time interval; and the power adjusting module (4) is used for adjusting the driving power of the atomization piece (3) according to the detected atomization amount within the detection time interval so as to adjust the average atomization amount of the atomization piece (3). The atomizer adjusts the power according to the atomization amount within a preset detection time interval, so that the average atomization amount within unit time is adjusted, and the atomization amount of the atomizer is consistent in different environments or within different time periods.
