Abstract:

Provided is an atomizer that can maintain a stable contact state of contact between a vibration plate and a liquid suction core even after a liquid refilling operation. This atomizer (1) causes the vibration plate (62) to vibrate while in surface contact with an upper end surface (4a) of the liquid suction core (4) and by doing so atomizes, via small holes in the vibration plate (62), liquid that has been sucked up todrawn to an the upper end surface (4a) of a the liquid suction core (4) by vibrating a vibration plate (62) in a state of surface contact with the upper end surface (4a) of the liquid suction core (4) from small holes in the vibration plate (62). This atomizer is provided with aA rotating pivoting member (5) is provided on attached to the upper part of a the device main body (2) in a vertically pivotable mannerso as to be attached freely rotatable vertically. The rotating pivoting member (5) has a holding part (54) that holds the vibration plate (62) to the pivoting member (5) in a manner in which vertical movement is permitted, freely movable vertically with respect to the rotating member (5) so as to make the vibrating plate (62) have surface contact with the upper end surface (4a) of the liquid suction core (4) by its own weight because of thewhen the downward rotation of the rotatingpivoting member (5) is pivoted downwards. The device main body (2) has a regulating part (22f) that is in contact with the rotating pivoting member (5) and regulates the downward rotation pivoting motion of the rotating pivoting member (5) in a state such that the vibration plate (62) is in surface contact with the upper end surface (4a) of the liquid suction core (4).
