In the present invention, the following are provided: an air pump (14); a motor (15) and a battery (16); a mist nozzle (12); a tank (13); and a vertically long cylindrical main case (1) that accommodates the foregoing devices. A mist opening (3) is provided to the upper part of a front wall (1a) of the main case (1), and the mist nozzle (12) is provided within the mist opening (3). The interior of the main case (1) is divided into a front chamber (1A) and a rear chamber (1B) by a dividing wall (23), and the front chamber (1A) accommodates the tank (13). The rear chamber (1B) has provided therein an electrical component unit (17) that includes, in the order given, the air pump (14), the motor (15), and the battery (16). The tank (13) is formed vertically long and occupies most of the front chamber (1A), and the capacity of the tank (13) is increased without affecting the external shape of the main case (1). On the upper part of the rear surface of the main case (1), a grip section (5) is formed so as to be recessed, and the air pump (14) and the motor (15) are provided near the grip section (5).
