Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an atomizer that can generate a large volume of fine particles having particle sizes that are fine enough to cause Brownian motion. [Solution] This atomizer is provided with an atomization tank 11, an atomization device 12, a blower 13, an atomization unit 10 provided with a liquid level sensor 15 for measuring the level of a liquid in the atomization tank, a tank unit 20 that supplies the liquid to the atomization tank, and a control unit 50 that controls the supply of liquid to the atomization tank from the tank unit. The control unit begins the supply of liquid to the atomization tank from the tank unit when the liquid level measured by the liquid level sensor drops below a prescribed first liquid level h1, and stops the supply of liquid to the atomization tank from the tank unit when the liquid level measured by the liquid level sensor reaches a prescribed second liquid level h2 that is higher than the first liquid level h1.
