Abstract:
Disclosed is an attaching structure wherein a grommet comprises a head and a leg and the leg of the grommet is inserted into a through hole generated in an object and thereafter the leg is dilated by a shaft pressed in from the head side, thereby clamping the object between the leg and the head to attach to the object. The leg of the grommet is divided into a plurality of sections by slits generated along the direction of pressing in the shaft, and projecting sections which enter the slits generated in the leg of the grommet and allow the insertion of the leg are formed at the edge of the through hole generated in the object. Each of the projecting sections has a size nearly equal to or a little larger than the width of each slit.
