Abstract:
Provided are an attachment method and an attachment structure for a brushless motor sensor substrate, with which a rotation detection element can be arranged near the permanent magnets of a rotor and securely attached by means of a simple method, thereby eliminating the need to increase the size of the permanent magnets of the rotor in the axial direction. In the present invention an insulation material, which provides insulation between the location where the stator coils are wound and the outside, is formed on a stator core (20) on the inner circumferential surface of which radial pole tooth parts (20b) are provided at fixed intervals, and the stator coils are wound on the pole tooth parts, with the insulation material therebetween. In addition, stopper walls (83) which prevent these stator coils from coming out are provided at the tip part of the pole tooth portion of the insulation material, and seating parts (84) are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the stopper walls (83). A sensor substrate (9), on which is mounted a position detection element for detecting the position of permanent magnets (30) provided on the rotor (3), is arranged on these seating parts (84), and locking parts which hold the sensor substrate (9) are provided on some of the seating parts (84), thereby preventing the sensor substrate (9) from disengaging in the axial direction.
