Abstract:
The invention relates to an attachment optical unit (28) for concentrating light from a light source (22) assigned to the attachment optical unit (28) by refraction during passage through a light entrance surface (36) and/or a light exit surface (38) of the attachment optical unit (28) and/or by total reflection at an interface (34) of the attachment optical unit (28). A main exit direction (42) of the concentrated light from the attachment optical unit (28) is remitted to a main emission direction (32) of the light source (22) in a specific manner. In order to be able to direct light emitted by the light source (22) in a desired main exit direction independently of the main emission direction of the light emitted by the light source (22), it is proposed that at least one of the interfaces (34) of the attachment optical unit (28) be embodied in such a way that the main exit direction (42) of the light beam runs at an angle with respect to the main emission direction (32) of the at least one light source (22).
