Abstract:
An attachment for a rotary tool provides the rotary tool with a dust suction function operated by power reliably supplied from the rotary tool independent of the attitude of a contained motor.
A case (32) mounted to a housing (2) is provided therein with a first bevel gear (33) connected coaxially to a front tube (15), with the case (32) mounted to the housing (2), and rotating together with the front tube (15); a speed increasing mechanism for increasing the speed of the first bevel gear (33); a suction fan (38) rotated by the speed increasing mechanism; and a filter (45) located upstream of the suction fan (38). The suction fan (38) is rotated by rotation of the front tube (15) through the first bevel gear (33) and the speed increasing mechanism to suck outside air into the case (32).
