Abstract:
In the present invention a female thread section and a seat section (74) are formed on the inner wall surface of a plug hole (72). The seat section (74) has a tapered seat surface (741). A glow plug (1) equipped with a combustion pressure sensor has a housing (2), a glow heater (3), a load transmission member (4), and a pressure detection unit. The housing (2) has a male thread section and a seat section opposing section (22). The seat section opposing section (22) has a tapered contact surface (221) that makes surface contact with the tapered seat surface (741). A recessed section (222) which is recessed so as not to make contact with the seat section (74) is formed in an annular shape centered around a central axis (A) of the housing (2), in a portion of the seat section opposing section (22) in the radial direction.
