Abstract:
An attachment which is provided to the spindle head of a vertical machining center and which holds an angle tool holder so that five surfaces can be machined.
The attachment unit (100) for five surface machining comprises a ring cylinder member (110) secured to the lower section of the spindle head and a clamp unit (130) directly coupled to a piston inside the cylinder member. The clamp unit (130) comprises four groups of collet chucks (140), holds a pull-stud bolt (270) attached to the arm (250) of the angle tool holder (200) provided to a spindle, and drives an angle tool (220).
