Abstract:
Provided are an auction device, a control method for same, a program, and a non-transitory information recording medium, wherein when a successful bid is made on a product up for auction, a contact relay unit (101) relays contact relating to the sale of the product between a seller of the product and a bidder who is the successful bidder for the product, via a seller terminal used by the seller and a bidder terminal used by the successful bidder. A history of the relayed contact is stored in a history storage unit (102). An information generation unit (103): (1) estimates the seller-side time required for seller processing, in the time period from when a successful bid is made on the product prior to the successful bid to when the sending of the product is completed; (2) estimates the bidder-side time required for bidder processing, in the time period from when a successful bid is made on the product prior to the successful bid to when the sending of the product is completed; and (3) calculates the sum of the seller-side time and the bidder-side time, and uses said sum as the estimated time required from the successful bid on the product prior to the successful bid to sending.
