Abstract:
The present invention relates to an audio device capable of recognizing a voice and a control method therefor, the audio device comprising: an audio input unit formed to enable a voice to be received; and a control unit for switching an execution state of a voice recognition function, during a standby state in which reception of a start signal is waited, to a recognition state, in which a voice recognition is possible, when the start signal is received through the audio input unit, wherein the control unit switches the execution state of the voice recognition function, from the recognition state to the standby state together with the execution of the detected one function when only one function corresponding to the voice, which is recognized in the recognition state, is detected, and switches the execution state of the voice recognition function, from the recognition state to a correction recognition state capable of receiving an additional voice together with an execution of a specific function among the plurality of functions when the plurality of functions corresponding to the voice, which is recognized in the recognition state, are detected.
