Abstract:

The present technology relates to an audio device, a drive method, and a display device with which it is possible to obtain a sufficient acoustic pressure level over a wider frequency band. This audio device is provided with: a vibrating plate; an electrodynamic excitation portion which outputs sound by causing the vibrating plate to vibrate; and a piezoelectric excitation portion which outputs sound by causing the vibrating plate to vibrate. The present technology is applicable to display devices.
