Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present invention relate to a device and method for changing a role related to a call function in an audio device. The audio device comprises at least one microphone, a communication circuit, and at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one microphone and the communication circuit, wherein the processor may: establish a communication link with an electronic device through the communication circuit; transmit, to an external audio device, information related to the communication link through the communication circuit; detect noise through the at least one microphone; when the noise detected through the at least one microphone satisfies a specified first condition, check noise of the external audio device; and when the noise of the external audio device satisfies a specified second condition, change a role for communication between the external audio device and the electronic device. Other embodiments are also possible.
