Abstract:
An audio file generating/playing device and method for foreign language listening comprehension are disclosed. The device comprises: an audio file storage module for storing an audio file created in a foreign language voice; an augmented audio file generation module for generating an augmented audio file by designating an enhance trigger at a corresponding playing point or playing region such that a word to be concentratedly heard or a chunk to be concentratedly heard in the foreign language voice stored in the audio file storage module can be emphatically outputted; and an augmented audio file playing module for emphatically outputting, in the augmented audio file generated by the augmented audio file generation module, the word to be concentratedly heard or the chunk to be concentratedly heard in the playing point or the playing region in which the enhance trigger is designated. According to the audio file generating/playing device and method for foreign language listening comprehension, when a specific word or chunk not easily heard is outputted from a foreign language audio file, the word or the chunk is outputted by being amplified such that a listener can concentratedly listen to the corresponding word or chunk, a pre-trigger is inserted therein or a play speed is adjusted, and thus listening comprehension skills for a word to be concentratedly heard or a chunk to be concentratedly heard can be increased.
