Abstract:
As an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed may be an augmented reality (AR) system in which estimation of the jaw movement of a patient is reflected and an augmented reality providing method therefor. The augmented reality (AR) system in which estimation of the jaw movement of a patient is reflected, according to an embodiment of the present invention, may comprise: an image acquisition unit for acquiring a CT image of the head and neck of a patient; an image conversion unit for converting the acquired CT image into a three-dimensional image; a coordinate system setting unit for defining a coordinate system for a patient by using a plurality of points included in the converted image; a plurality of markers attached to a patient so as to estimate the jaw movement of the patient; a marker recognition unit for recognizing the plurality of markers attached to a patient; a coordinate estimation unit for estimating the coordinates of each of the plurality of recognized markers on the basis of the defined coordinate system; an augmented reality image generation unit for generating an augmented reality image of the jaw for the estimated coordinates; and a display unit for displaying the generated augmented reality image.
