Title:
AUSTENITE STEEL HAVING EXCELLENT HIGH-TEMPERATURE STRENGTH
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/022460
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a material capable of realizing high-temperature physical properties equal to or higher than existing heat-resistant stainless steel while replacing nickel, which is a high-priced alloy element and contained in large quantities in a heat-resistant stainless steel used at a very high temperature, such as for a turbocharger, with a low-priced alloy element. An austenite steel according to the present invention contains 0.35-0.5 wt% of carbon (C), 1.0-2.0 wt% of silicon (Si), 6.0-9.0 wt% of manganese (Mn), 13.5-15.5 wt% of nickel (Ni), 23-26 wt% of chromium (Cr), 1.5-4.5 wt% of molybdenum (Mo), and the balance iron (Fe) and inevitable impurities, wherein the ratio of Manganese (Mn) content to nickel (Ni) content, CMn/CNi, in the alloy elements is maintained in a range of 0.4-0.65.
