Abstract:
An authentication device (1) has an imaging section (2) for capturing an eye image of
a person (30) to be authenticated, an iris processing section (16) for creating authentication
information by clipping a partial image including an iris from the eye image of
the person (30), an evaluation section (80) for evaluating the degree of discordance
created from the authentication information, an iris position correction section
(70) for correcting, based on the result of the evaluation by the evaluation section
(80), the position of the iris clipped by the iris processing section (16), and
an authentication processing section (17) for performing authentication processing
by comparing previously registered registration/authentication
information and the authentication information with each other.
