Abstract:
The computer according to this invention detects a plurality of living body region candidates and characteristic points each for each of the plurality of living body region candidates from a captured image capturing a living body. The computer selects a living body region candidate from the plurality of living body region candidates on the basis of the position of the characteristic point of each of the plurality of living body region candidates, and uses an image of the selected living body region candidate to authenticate the living body.
