Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the management load on users which accompanies user authentication. A telephone number allocated to a user terminal 4, and a service ID specifying a service for which user authentication is to be performed are received, verification information is transmitted to the received telephone number, a response using the verification information is received from the user terminal 4, user authentication of the user terminal 4 is executed on the basis of the received response, and, in cases when the user authentication has verified that the user is legitimate, shared user information stored in association with the telephone number is transmitted to a service provision server 3 corresponding to the received service ID.
