Abstract:
An authentication system (100) according to the present disclosure has an electric device (10) and a mobile terminal (16), said authentication system (100) being provided with: a storage unit for storing a device ID of the electric device (10); an authentication unit for determining a match between destination of the electric device (10) identified by the device ID and a user-affiliated area, which is an area in which a user of the mobile terminal (16) belongs; and a function limitation unit for changing control from the mobile terminal (16) with respect to a function provided by the electric device (10) depending on whether the destination of the electric device (10) and the user-affiliated area match, or the destination of the electric device (10) and the user-affiliated area do not match.
