Abstract:

The present invention provides a secure authentication service while reducing labor in preparation for use. An authentication system according to the present invention is provided with a user terminal, an authentication terminal, and an authentication server, which are connected via a network, and the user terminal and the authentication terminal perform wireless communication with each other. In addition, the authentication server and one of the user terminal and the authentication terminal individually generate one-time passwords on the basis of the same rule; the one terminal splits the generated one-time password and transmits the split passwords to the other one of the user terminal and the authentication terminal; the other terminal combines the received one-time passwords and transmits the combined password to the authentication server; and the authentication server performs authentication by using the one-time password generated by the server itself and the received one-time password.
