Abstract:
An authentication terminal (10) is provided with an image acquisition unit (11), an embedded information acquisition unit (13), an authentication unit (14), and a notification unit (16). The image acquisition unit (11) acquires a body image generated by capturing an image of the body of a target person, and a code image generated by capturing an image of a code recording medium. The code recording medium has a visually recognizable code symbol having recorded therein embedded information that includes registration biological information of the target person and identification information of the target person. The embedded information acquisition unit (13) acquires the embedded information from the code image. The authentication unit (14) executes biometric authentication by comparison between the registration biological information included in the embedded information and authentication biological information generated on the basis of the body image. When the biometric authentication has succeeded, the notification unit (16) notifies a management device of the identification information of the target person.
