Abstract:
Disclosed is an auto-focusing method. The method comprises: dividing an image to be photographed into M*N sub-areas and obtaining a corresponding low-frequency sharpness evaluation value of the M*N sub-areas at a current focusing position; and calculating the quantity X of sub-areas with a low-frequency focusing curve complying with a sharp increase in various focusing intervals and the quantity Y of sub-areas complying with a sharp decrease, wherein if X is greater than Y in a certain focusing interval I, then it is continued to judge the magnitude relation between X and Y in a focusing interval I+1; and if Y is greater than X in the focusing interval I+1, then it is determined that a focusing position i+1 is a low-frequency clear focusing position. The method determines an effective sub-area according to a low-frequency sharpness evaluation value of various sub-areas of an image to be photographed and regards a focusing position of the effective area as a focusing position of the whole image, which avoids the interference to focusing caused by using a pseudo wave peak on a curve in a focusing curve of the whole image, and thus improves the accuracy of image focusing in an application scenario where multiple peak values exist on the focusing curve.
