Auto unfolding (folding) umbrella by the spring has the umbrella rib's base (20) established on the top of the umbrella axis, there are the second umbrella rib's base (30) and third umbrella rib's base (40), which can be moved along on the middle of the axis (10), and the spring to give a power to the second and third umbrella rib's base (20,30) staying between the second and third umbrella rib's base (20, 30).

In case of playing golf, a golfer has a golf club on the hand and has an umbrella or sunshade on another hand on the field to avoid the rain or sunshine, and the golfer fold the umbrella when he/she tries to have a shot, or he/she put down the umbrella or sunshade on the ground, but if he/she does not fold it that could be flowed by wind easily, so he/she must put down the golf club to fold the umbrella or the sunshade. Therefore, he/she feels very inconvenient every time with it, also the person who want to get on a car or get into a building under the rain feels inconvenient same as that.

There is automatic umbrella and sunshade to reduce these kinds of inconvenient problems already.

Which umbrella or sunshade have coil spring between the middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base, so if you unfold the umbrella or sunshade, the spring has tensile strength, and the middle rib's base is locked in the lock which lock is established on the top of the umbrella axis with the strengthened spring.

Then, the lock connecting to the switch on the handle, if you unlock the lock with pressing the button on the handle, the tensile strengthened spring pull back the umbrella ribs to fold it, so the automatic

folding umbrella is very convenient when you want to fold it without effort, or you have something another hand.

However, that kind of umbrella has a structure such as the middle ribs connecting to the middle rib's base and the body of upper ribs, the bottom ribs connecting to the body of middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base, the strengthened coil spring established between the bottom rib's base and the middle rib's base, so if you push the bottom rib's base to unfold the umbrella, the middle ribs and the upper ribs are unfolded by the bottom ribs, and the umbrella is unfolded by the going up of middle rib's base with the middle ribs and the strengthened coil spring simultaneously. Therefore, the bottom ribs are taken too much power, so the body of middle ribs is transformed. Also, it is very difficult to manufacture and assemble, because groove joint must be formed on the middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base.

Disclosure of the invention For this invention, the auto-folding umbrella will be supposed which joining coil spring between the middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base to make compressed spring when the umbrella unfolded. Also, when the umbrella is folded, the spring will be restored, because the end of middle ribs supporting the upper ribs is connected to the bottom rib's base and the end of bottom ribs supporting the middle ribs is connected to the middle rib's base.

When it is unfolded, the lock is locked in the top of middle rib's base, and if you press the button on the handle, the lock is unlocked and the automatic folding umbrella is going to be folded by the power from that spring.

In the present invention, the fixed rib's base (20) is formed on the top of umbrella axis (10), below that the moving middle rib's base (30) and the bottom rib's base (40) is established, the coil spring (50) is putted between the middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base, the upper ribs (60) are joined on the upper rib's base, the middle ribs (70) are joined on the body of upper ribs (60) and the bottom rib's base (40) also, and the bottom ribs (80) are joined on the body of middle ribs (70) and the middle rib's base (30). Then, there is a hook type of lock (90) connected to the switch (120) on the handle (110) by wire load (100) in the umbrella axis, and there is a lock groove (31) which is locked with lock when the middle rib's base (30) meeting the upper rib's base.

According to this system, if you unfold this umbrella, the coil spring compressed between the middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base, and the umbrella gets unfolded is kept continuously. Then, if you press switch, the compressed spring push the bottom rib's base with unlocking, which means that system working among the upper ribs, the middle ribs, and the bottom ribs to fold it automatically.

According to this invention, each rib's base is normal type that joined to the umbrella axis, also each the upper ribs, middle ribs, and bottom ribs are joined to fixing groove (21) (32) (41) that are formed same distance on outside of the umbrella axis.

The umbrella ribs composing frame of the umbrella cloth keep the strengthened umbrella cloth, the middle ribs support to keep the strengthened upper ribs, the bottom ribs support the middle ribs and the bottom ribs transmit the power of spring to the upper ribs and middle ribs to fold or unfold the umbrella. That is, the bottom rib's base, the middle rib's base, and spring make link all together.

The coil spring push up the bottom rib's base to unfold the umbrella with compressing spring with going up the middle rib's base and the bottom rib's base, and the upper ribs, the middle ribs and the bottom ribs are

working together to unfold the upper ribs to unfold the umbrella cloth simultaneously.

This invention is based on the compression and restoration power, that is, it can be folded automatically using the compression power of coil spring, so this invention (spring) does not ask any mechanism to fix spring, but insert spring into grooves (42) (43), which means that it is very easy to manufacture, even though exist auto folding umbrella ask complex mechanism to fix both end of spring.

Lock is for keeping the unfolded umbrella continuously, that lock is hook type and the its body is fixed on the upper rib's base, some part of the upper rib's base stand out of, and its end stand up side down to lock in groove of middle rib's base, then other part of lock face inside of umbrella axis to lock in wire load.

The lock applied to this invention form elasticity department (92) in the"+"type of middle of body (91) and make it to fix on the upper rib's base, so the both side of lock is got elasticity when lock is folded.

The wire lord is putted into inside of umbrella axis, and part of it connect to lock and other end connect to sliding type of switch, so if you pull switch back, the bottom part of lock connecting go down by wire lord and its power unlock the lock which lock the middle rib's base.

The drawing 4a explains the unfolded umbrella, and the drawing 4b explains the frame of folded umbrella, if you push up the bottom rib's base with taking handle on other hand, the folded umbrella is going to be unfolded with going up the bottom rib's base, getting up the spring compression, and getting down the distance among the upper rib's base, the middle rib's base, and the bottom rib's base. And then, finally, the umbrella is unfolded by that working, and the upper rib's base meets the middle rib's base with locking. Therefore, it is not folded without pushing up the switch on handle.

Otherwise, if you pull down the switch on handle, the lock going up to unlock. Then the distance between the middle rib's base and bottom rib's base is going to be bigger by compressed spring, so the umbrella is going to be folded with getting bigger of distance between them.
