Abstract:
An autofocus system and method, and a projection device. The autofocus system comprises a temperature sensing unit (1), a distance sensing unit (2), a focusing lens (6), a focusing module (5), a memory module (3), and a control processing module (4). The control processing module (4) determines whether focusing is required by means of comparing measurement values of the temperature sensing unit (1) and the distance sensing unit (2) against pre-determined values. If focusing is required, a desired lens position of the focusing lens (6) is determined by means of reading a pre-determined value in the memory module (3), and the focusing module (5) is controlled to drive the camera lens (6) to the corresponding lens position to complete a focusing operation. The autofocus system automatically determines whether focusing is required and achieves fast and precise focusing, thereby providing superior reliability and an excellent user experience.
