Abstract:

Provided is an automated analysis device characterized by being provided with: a reaction cell for mixing a sample and a reagent to cause the same to react; a first reagent dispensing mechanism for dispensing the reagent into the reaction cell; a first reagent vessel disposed on a trajectory of the first reagent dispensing mechanism; a reaction vessel for mixing the sample and the reagent to cause the same to react; a second reagent dispensing mechanism for sucking the reagent from the reaction cell and dispensing the same into the reaction vessel; a sample dispensing mechanism for dispensing the sample and the reagent into the reaction cell and the reaction vessel; a second reagent vessel disposed on a trajectory of the sample dispensing mechanism; and a control unit for controlling the dispensing mechanisms; wherein, on the basis of information indicating whether or not an analysis item is to be incubated, the control unit controls the sample dispensing mechanism such that the sample and the reagent are dispensed into the reaction vessel in the case of an analysis item for which incubation is not required, and controls the sample dispensing mechanism such that the sample is dispensed into the reaction cell in the case of an analysis item for which incubation is required.
