Abstract:
An automated pipe feeding device comprises a machine frame (1), a receiving device (2), a distribution device (3), a measurement device, and a conveying device (5). The receiving device conveys multiple pipes from an automated warehouse to the distribution device. The distribution device comprises a pushing assembly (3.21), a separation assembly (3.19), a blocking assembly, and an infrared sensor (3.20). The pushing assembly and the blocking assembly are respectively provided on two sides of the separation assembly to form a feeding side and a discharging side of the distribution device. A distance between the separation assembly and the pushing assembly is adjustable. Multiple pipes can only be pushed upwards one layer at a time without being stacked. The infrared sensor is provided at a top end of the separation assembly. The measurement device is located above the blocking assembly. The measurement device comprises a displacement sensor for measuring the size of a pipe. The conveying device conveys a single pipe from the discharging side of the distribution device to a pipe cutting machine. The automated pipe feeding device automatically switches pipes, is intelligent and automated, measures the size of pipes to determine types thereof, is widely applicable, and reduces production costs.
