Abstract:
An automated storeroom system comprises a plurality of automated storerooms that have racks and stocker cranes, and a transport vehicle that runs along a route. A rack in one of a pair of adjacent automated storerooms (first rack) and a rack in the other of said pair (second rack) are disposed so as to face each other. The route includes: a first route that passes through the first rack in the longitudinal direction of the first rack and by which an item can be transferred to the second rack with the transport vehicle; a second route that passes through the second rack in the longitudinal direction of the second rack and by which an item can be transferred to the first rack with the transport vehicle; and a connection route that is provided so as to extend from one of the first rack and the second rack to the other and that connects the first route and the second route.
