Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a technology whereby it is possible to reduce the possibility of counterfeit notes being reused. [Solution] Provided is an automated transaction device (10), comprising: a comparison unit (111) which compares counterfeit note use card information which is read in from a counterfeit note use card with which a counterfeit note has been used and inserted card information which is read in from an inserted card which is inserted to carry out a transaction, and obtains a comparison result; and a card location control unit (112) which performs control so that the inserted card is not returned at a prescribed user estimation timing if the comparison result denotes a match between the inserted card information and the counterfeit note use card information.
