Abstract:
Provided is an automated warehouse system in which a transport vehicle travels on the lower portion of a rack, wherein stacker cranes, which are not stacker cranes performing maintenance, are allowed to operate. This automated warehouse system 1 comprises a plurality of automated warehouses 3, a transport vehicle 5, and a movement restriction member 43. The plurality of automated warehouses 3 has: racks 7 that are long and extend in a first horizontal direction and that have a plurality of shelves 7a; and a stacker crane 9 that can travel on a crane route 11 along the racks 7. The plurality of automated warehouses 3 is disposed so that back faces of the racks 7 in a second horizontal direction orthogonal to the first horizontal direction are mutually adjacent. The transport vehicle 5 is provided at the lower portion of the racks 7 and can travel along a route 21 that is long and extends in the first horizontal direction. The movement restriction member 43 is disposed between the crane route 11 and the front face of the rack 7 facing the crane route 11 and can move between a movement restricted position, in which movement of an operator W is restricted, and a movement non-restricted position, in which the restriction is cancelled.
