Abstract:
An automated workpiece conveyor that conveys a shaft workpiece in a stable orientation, wherein the automated workpiece conveyor has: a robot hand provided with a chuck mechanism in which a first chuck claw and a second chuck claw that sandwich the shaft workpiece at two locations are respectively provided to a pair of chuck blocks that are capable of moving in approaching and distancing directions, the first chuck claw being secured to the chuck block, and the second chuck claw being slidably assembled on the chuck block in a state of being biased by a spring member in the approaching direction; and a drive mechanism that supports the robot hand and causes the same to move to a prescribed position.
