Abstract:
To enable an operator to perform replacement work of reagent containers without being equipped with a mechanism for reagent replacement such as an auto-loader or the like, and without interrupting analysis operations. The automatic analysis device includes an analyzing unit that has a plurality of operating units for performing analysis of analytes, and a control unit that controls the analyzing unit. The control unit is configured such that the analyzing unit can be set to at least (a) an analyzing operation mode in which a first operating unit and a second operating unit are operated for analyzing analytes, (b) a partial operation mode in which only the first operating unit continues to operate after ending analysis of the analytes in the analyzing operation mode, and (c) a reagent replacement mode in which consumables including reagents are in a replaceable state in the analyzing unit. In a case of receiving a state transition instruction in the partial operation mode, the control unit causes the analyzing unit to shift from the partial operation mode to the reagent replacement mode.
