Abstract:
An automatic analyzer adapted to automatically make biochemical and immunological analyses, and having a means for transferring a plurality of samples to sample-sucking positions (f), a means (3) for sucking a required quantity of a sample in the sample-sucking position (f) and inject the sample into a reaction vessel (1), a means (B) for transferring the reaction vessel (1) to an optical measurement position (d), means (4, 5) for injecting a reagent which corresponds to a measurement item into the reaction vessel, a means (10) for transferring a reagent vessel (9) which contains reagent corresponding to the object measurement item to reagent-sucking positions (g, h), a means (7) for optically analyzing the sample in the reaction vessel (1), and a means (8) for washing the reaction vessel (1) in which the analysis of the sample has been completed. This automatic analyzer is formed so that the controlling of the driving of the analyzer and the storing and preserving of the analysis data are done by IC cards (11, 120). The reading of a command signal from the IC cards (11, 120) and the writing of analysis data thereinto are done by a reader-writer (12, 121).
