Abstract:
An automatic bobbin change device (3), wherein a chuck drive cylinder (26) reciprocatingly rotates a chuck drive lever (14) until a chuck slide shaft (24) is positioned parallel with the vertical part (6c) of a guide groove (6) through the through-groove (16a) of a chuck pin (16) at a standby position (11) so that a bobbin chuck (18) can hold a bobbin case (12). At a change position (K), the bobbin chuck (18) is positioned generally parallel with the horizontal part (6a) of the guide groove (6) through the through-groove (16a) of the chuck pin (16) so that the bobbin case (12) can be fitted to a shuttle (8). In the process of the reciprocating movement of the chuck pin (16) in the guide groove (6), the through-groove (16a) always holds the bobbin chuck (18), as a parallel holding member, in a parallel state with the chuck slide shaft (24), and reciprocatingly rotates inward on the opposite side of the shuttle (8).
