Abstract:
Provided is an automatic bookmark with which, when a book is opened, interference between the pages and the bookmark part can be reduced as a result of the bookmark part being retracted fairly significantly above the pages. The bookmark is provided with: a first fixing part 2 and a second fixing part 3 that are fixed to the front cover and back cover of a book W; a bookmark part 6 that is interposed between closed pages; a first arm 4, the base end of which is connected to the first fixing part 2 and the leading end of which is connected to the bookmark part 6; and a second arm 5, the base end of which is connected to the second fixing part 3 and the leading end of which is connected to the bookmark part 6. A connecting part 11 for connecting the leading end of the first arm 4 and the leading end of the second arm 5 to each other is provided. One end of the bookmark part 6 is connected to the connecting part 11 and the other end is formed in a shape that is inserted between pages.
