Abstract:
The present invention is formed with: an electric motor (41) in which an axial force generation mechanism (40) is disposed at the outer peripheral edge of a shaft end of an input shaft (12) of a transmission (11); and a rotational/linear motion conversion mechanism (50) for converting the rotational motion of the rotor (42) of the electric motor (41) into linear motion of a release bearing (30). The rotational/linear motion conversion mechanism (50) is formed of a plurality of annular cam plates (51-53) disposed in tandem on the input shaft (12), and a torque cam mechanism (60) incorporated between facing pairs of the cam plates, yielding reduced size and improved responsiveness of the automatic clutch device.
