Abstract:
Provided are an automatic control method for an air conditioner, an automatic control device for an air conditioner, a recording medium and an air conditioner. The automatic control method for an air conditioner can receive indoor presence detection data indicating whether a user is present indoors, receive temperature data and humidity data indicating the detected indoor temperature and humidity, predict information about the future possibility of the user's indoor presence by using the indoor presence detection data, derive an optimum predicted mean vote (PMV) by using the temperature data and humidity data, calculate optimum temperature by using the optimum PMV, and control the air conditioner on the basis of the indoor presence detection data, the future possibility of indoor presence, and the optimum temperature, thereby enabling the air conditioner to operate at the optimum temperature suitable for the user.
