Abstract:
The present invention relates to an automatic cover for a loading compartment of a freight vehicle, the automatic cover provided at the loading compartment of the freight vehicle so as to prevent the objects loaded in the loading compartment from falling or scattering, and comprising: a cover frame provided at the upper part of the loading compartment of the freight vehicle; a multi-stage cover provided on a rear frame of the cover frame such that respective covers are overlapped and gathered together or withdrawn and unfolded from each cover; overlapping means provided at each cover so as to overlap and gather the respective adjacent covers toward the front of the freight vehicle by the backward movement of the rearmost cover of the multi-stage cover; an unfolding means withdrawn and unfolded from the respective adjacent covers toward the rear of the freight vehicle by the forward movement of the rearmost cover of the multi-stage cover, and provided over each overlapping means so as to restrict movement distance of each cover; and a moving means connected to the overlapping means in order to perform the backward and forward movements of the rearmost cover among the respective covers of the multi-stage cover, and the automatic cover enables an overlapping and gathering operation or a spreading and unfolding operation of the respective covers of the multi-stage cover to be performed by means of simple-structured supports or wires by moving only the rearmost cover.
