Abstract:
An automatic cutter device provided with a stationary blade which is disposed on one surface side of a paper sheet to be cut, and also with a movable blade which is disposed on the other surface side of the paper sheet so as to face the stationary blade across the paper sheet. When cutting the paper sheet in the widthwise direction thereof, the automatic cutter device cuts the paper sheet by a small cutting force while leaving the center portion of the paper sheet in the widthwise direction uncut. The automatic cutter device is provided with a movement means (18) for moving the movable blade (12). The movement means (18) is configured in such a manner that, after moving the movable blade (12) so that a cutting position moves from one end toward the center of the paper sheet (P) in the widthwise direction thereof, the movement means (18) moves the movable blade (12) so that the cutting position moves from the other end toward the center of the paper sheet (P) in the widthwise direction thereof, the cutting position being that at which the edge (120) of the movable blade (12) and the edge (110) of the stationary blade (11) are in contact with each other to cut the paper sheet (P).
